May is Mental Health Awareness, you may see post on social media with organizations wearing Green or posting new way to talk about your Mental Health. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act, and helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

In the black community for many years and still til this day many brown and black folk look down on people that take care of there mental health. They may say things like “Why are you taking the meds or Who needs a Therapist, we don’t talk about our problem outside the house”. Mental Health is really and join us as we dive into the ideas, and assumptions that are heard in the black community.
